I miss only info if it will be USB-C

Although I could not find any solid conformation searching around online, I am confident that it will have USB-C.
Looking at the rest of their lineup, USB-C charging seems to be the norm, and Micro-USB is quite dated for new products in 2018.

I hope they have on time software updates though...

It does ship with oreo, which means treble. So maybe that wouldn't even matter if it was the case.

Treble does not mean anything for upgrades. It is possible to have treble and not get any upgrades at all. Treble makes the upgrades easier to do, but that is all it offers!

Yes and no. It guarantees jack squat from the OEM as you suggest. But assuming the bootloader is unlocked, it also makes it FAR easier to port custom roms. I'm not sure about kernel source and community support with the X20, but I'd love a nice (and well priced) Android tablet with really good community support for updates (e.g. Lineage).

I have an Hi Pro 8 and it has Android mode on it and would say this company's products are total waste of money - they might look good on outside but they are cheap - especially where it counts with setup of OS.

I bought 2 Chuwi Lapbook 14's based on the review here at Anandtech and My daughter and I really like them. They are much nicer than their $219 price tag would imply. There are a few select Chinese nobodies that are just killing it right now and Chuwi is one of them. If you didn't like the Hi8 Pro you should probably have tempered your expectations with the fact that it was a $99 device that could dual boot Windows and Android.

Yours probably uses an Atom chip. Android on x86 has been abandoned and it was slow to begin with. I've got a similar Windows+Android Atom tablet, I ended up deleting the Android partition because it was so slow.

Headphone jack? Or do we need an adapter to turn our data/charger port into a headphone port?

the only source of deal breaker is x20

Fair warning: They don't have good build quality, and they are very unlikely to replace defective units. They had a problem with the Hi12 units where they were shipping faulty USB Type C chargers that burned out the USB chip, but they were refusing to replace them.

This is great, i have been using chinese products this couple of last months and i have been surprised by how much you can get by paying a lot less than the US counterparts. For instance i bought each of my kids the TECLAST T10 tablet (2560x1600 laminated screen) and it runs pretty well. I also bought for myself the Chuwi Hi13 tablet (3000x2000 non laminated screen) and usage at night for netflix is amazing. I look forward to see this tablet but it seems on the pricey side to be a chinese laptop, price must be $180 to be really attractive
