Even fewer people OC memory(outside of XMP and this board does support XMP profiles). So this has all the features majority of people want without the price premium of the Z690. This board will support XMP 3.0 profiles as they call out, support up to 6000MHz on DDR5.
DDR5 version could probably do 6400+, but only if these mobo makers go down to 2 slots to remove noise reflected from the pins in the unused slots. Like why even bother with DDR5, if they run at slower than DDR4 speeds?
They claim it can do DDR5 to 6000MHz on the product page... so its fully capable of Memory OC, from what I have read only H610 does not get memoryc OC support, check product page https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B660-AORUS-MA... You can see it either on the specification tab or if you scroll down you will see the marketing XMP 6000+
Anandtech should include that int he article, hopefully they do a good breakdown, really all that Z690 gets you now that the otherplatforms don't have is CPU OC and more PCIE lanes, Memory OC is supported by all chipsets for Alder lake except the budget H610 line now.
This intellectual post of GIGABYTE Announces B660 Aorus is so precious and creative for all the new consumers but there are also very beneficial and authorized VFM Seo Services, https://vfmseo.com/ which are so delightful and integrating for the audiences as well for developing their best local businesses from their ambitious ways in all over Europe.

Funny how they make these b660 boards look so cool yet they don't have any overclocking features.cyrusfox - Friday, January 7, 2022 - link

What is the point of B660 master? There are plenty of other low cost B660 for those not overclocking. What would anyone do with a b660 master?
